Sivasagar, a district in the Indian state of Assam, is a region rich in history and natural beauty. It lies in the upper Brahmaputra Valley, encapsulated by the Brahmaputra River to the north, Nagaland to the south, Charaideo district to the east, and the Jhanji River to the west.
